Bio-based fire protection of wood

Nordtreat has developed and certified the bio-based flame retardant technology applicable to a variety of solid wood products and other wood-based construction materials. Our NORFLAM® flame retardants provide the required reaction to fire class B-s1, d0 and lower for solid wood cladding, panelling and slats.

Treatment with bio-based flame retardant means that the claddings, panels and slats are sustainable and non-harmful on exteriors and interiors. Our flame retardants are ph-neutral, waterborne, and low-VOC products.
