Bio-based fire protection of wood

Treet has developed and certified the bio-based fire retardant technology applicable to a variety of solid wood products and other wood-based construction materials. Our NORFLAM® fire retardants provide the required reaction to fire class B-s1, d0 and lower for solid wood, thermally modified timber and mass timber products.

Treatment with bio-based flame retardant means that the timber products are sustainable and non-harmful on exteriors and interiors. Our fire retardants are ph-neutral, waterborne, and low-VOC products.
